Should I give up Clomid Completely?
If you check any of my previous questions you"ll see that I have struggled a whole bunch with female issues; no periods, no ovulation, unable to conceive ect. I was diagnosed with pcos when i was 19 because of having high estrogen and testosterone although i show no reals signs of the disorder aside from what i meantioned above. I'm not the least bit overweight, no facial/body hair, nothing.
A doc different from the one who diagnosed me, prescribed me Metformin 1500mg for a month to see if it brought on my period and when it didnt he prescribed me Clomid 50mg in mixture with metformin and i actually had a period. My 1st, 2nd and 4th cycle of clomid i had a period like clock work, every 33 days. The 3rd round my cycle was 38 days. Because I hadn't conceived my doc upped my dosage of clomid to 100mg on 5th cycle and I completely missed that month. As of right now I still have not had a period, its been 3 months however a week ago i started having brown discharge that has turned reddish. How could I not have my period? The dosage was upped and even on 50mg i had a period every month. I even continued taking the metformin and that hasnt helped. What should i do? Should I take the last round i have of clomid to see if there is any success or just forget about it?
I don't know if this helps any but I have been pregnant before in the past but suffered miscarriages, I was pretty young though and I haven't been able to get pregnant for nearly 5 years since.
Any stories similiar to mine, I would love to hear. I would love to hear all stories in fact.
I'm not pregnant. My doctor did a Preg test and a blood test and both were negative, that was almost 2 months ago

Well I know metformin is to help you ovulate and same for clomid. I have PCOS myself and I have been on metformin for 2 months now but my doctor said to give the metformin a few months to get going.I have been charting my ovulate TTC. The doctor also told me that if i dont concevie by the end of march we was going to try and have me on both of them but i take 500 mg twice a day. but before i started taking metformin I was getting really really little spotting then only when i wipe and that was it (sorry TMI) and it was like it for 2 days and then i just started a period. so I dont know if your trying to conceive or not. but i would take it as that brownish color as old blood but i am not a doctor just telling you what i think.
if you want to talk please im me
