When I was 19 a Fertility Specialist diagnosed me with PCOS due to having pretty much non existing periods, Blood tests revealed I had high estrogen and high testosterone while everything else was normal range. Back in July my Doc prescribed me Metformin 1500mg for a month to see if my period came, when it didnt he prescribed me clomid 50mg in mixture. I induced my period in August with provera before taking the clomid. Sept I had a period on CD 33, again in Oct on CD 33, In Nov period came on CD 38, In Dec it came on CD 33 and in Jan my doc upped the dosage to 100mg of clomid and I completely missed. In Feb I started spotting brown for a week, it turned red/brown and has lasted over a month non stop, still no period. Had pg test and blood test done last month and revealed negative for pregnancy. How could this be? How could I miss my period when I had one every month on 50mg. It should have worked better right? I stopped taking my metformin around the time I started spotting, could that be the reason why? I never took my last dose of Clomid because I never started my period so I dont even know if its worth taking anymore. Whats your opinion? Have you experieced this?

I have a two year old daughter, She hates to have her diaper off other then that she will run around in one but when you change it she wants it on and throws a fit if its not put back on ASAP! Is that natural or what? What can we do to get her use to that so we can potty train her? She does good on bath times.

I was diagnosed with PCOS due to high estrogen and elevated testosterone a few years back. I don't have the typical signs other than irregular periods/annovulation.

I have been taking Metformin the past 4-5 months at 1500mg.

I had taken my 3rd round of clomid at 50mg on Sept 3rd-Sept 7th, days 5-9 of my cycle. Since taking the clomid my cycles have been like clock work, 33 day cycle. I was suppose to start Oct 2nd but never did. That night I had period like cramps that lasted 15 minutes and then it was over. Every now and then I get short twinges of pain in my lower belly as well as lower back aches that last maybe a minute. My breasts are tender, very swollen and firm which is common for me about a week before my period is due, lasting until the end of my period.

Could I be pregnant?? I know right now there is a chance i'm pregnant but how high are the chances that my period is just late or the clomid didn't work this round?

What were your symptoms when you were pregnant?

Would appreciate comments and opinions from from everyoen but more so former clomid users.

My dad has been a raging alcoholic for 20+ years. Hard liquor from the time he wakes up until the time he goes to bed. It's his life.

About a year ago he was admitted into the hospital for Kidney Failure but made it out of it okay.

Just about a week ago he was admitted into the hospital because his skin and eyes had turned yellow and he collapsed. During that time the doctors explained that he was no longer a candidate for a Liver transplant, his liver was beyond repair, they can just treat the symptoms....

He was let go after 5 days of being in the hospital because he was stable. 2 days following he was readmitted into the hospital only this time he's worse.......

here is a list of his symptoms;

Fatigue

Nausea

Weakness (can barely lift a bottle of soda to his mouth)

Weight loss (20 + pounds in a week)

Exhaustion

Stomach Pains

Severe Jaundice....like glowing

Very swollen abdomen

Personality changes, forgetfullness

Decreased mental function, slow to respond, blank stares

Fluid retention

Pneumonia

Dimensia

bad shaking

loss of balance, equilibrium problems

It's just terrible and it's breaking my heart seeing him this way.

I was reading posts from people who had someone close with this disease, they described the same symptoms I did and there loved ones ended up dying.. I'm so afraid of that.

What are the chances??

This is soo difficult for me. I have had it explained to me over a 100 times and I still cannot seem to understand. I was a terrible kid and because of that i ended up getting kicked out of all public schools, my mom then kicked me out and I was forced to get a job to start providing for myself.

I am needing to get my GED but I have no idea what to do, i don't know percentages, algebra...none of that.

I understand that with percentages, you always multiply by 100 but that is as far as i get.

Alright so my husband and I were looking on craigslist. We are trying to find a house. We came upon an add where this woman had a house in New Mexico that she was leasing out. It was a 4 bedroom house, fully furnished for 700 a month including utilities. She was going to be gone for about 5 years. Everything was going great, we were very interested. I mean c'mon that's too good to be true, right? So this woman tells us without ever meeting us that she would rather us live there out of everyone else that was interested. We had only exchanged two emails, how would she know. She asked for three references which she never called and now she's asking for us to wire 1,400 to her account for the house before we get anything?

This just sounds so very suspicious, what would you do? What is your opinion?

Is it possible to get pregnant while you have bacterial vaginosis? If so, will it affect the pregnancy in any way?Could it hurt the baby? Could it make the infection worse?
