Missing period, Continuous spotting?? What is this?
When I was 19 a Fertility Specialist diagnosed me with PCOS due to having pretty much non existing periods, Blood tests revealed I had high estrogen and high testosterone while everything else was normal range. Back in July my Doc prescribed me Metformin 1500mg for a month to see if my period came, when it didnt he prescribed me clomid 50mg in mixture. I induced my period in August with provera before taking the clomid. Sept I had a period on CD 33, again in Oct on CD 33, In Nov period came on CD 38, In Dec it came on CD 33 and in Jan my doc upped the dosage to 100mg of clomid and I completely missed. In Feb I started spotting brown for a week, it turned red/brown and has lasted over a month non stop, still no period. Had pg test and blood test done last month and revealed negative for pregnancy. How could this be? How could I miss my period when I had one every month on 50mg. It should have worked better right? I stopped taking my metformin around the time I started spotting, could that be the reason why? I never took my last dose of Clomid because I never started my period so I dont even know if its worth taking anymore. Whats your opinion? Have you experieced this?

First of all, there is no reason to increase the dosage of Clomid if you ovulated on the lower dose. Clomid is an ovulation inducing drug - if you ovulated on the low dose, then it worked.
I don't know why the spotting for so long. Why did you stop the metformin?
All these drugs have an effect on your hormones, so anytime you mess with them (increase the dose, stop taking the metformin) you are messing with your hormones and could throw your cycles off kilter.
You should continue with the metformin and if you don't get AF in a few weeks, maybe see about using Provera to induce it and start again with the lowest dose of Clomid.
Good luck!

Your physician must have recognized larger. When you pass the placebo drugs of your delivery manipulate, your frame simply does not shed the uterine lining, that's most likely alright to do might be one or 2 months in a row, seeing that delivery manipulate in general factors the uterine lining to be very skinny to deter implantation of a fertilized egg. When you begin to try this over a couple of extra months, nevertheless, you'll begin to construct up a thicker uterine lining slowly, and it'll ultimately have got to pass someplace, as a consequence the recognizing and bleeding. Doing this for SEVERAL months at a time must no longer be endorsed seeing that it's discouraging the losing of the uterine lining, which inspires endometriosis to broaden. If your physician desired you to pass durations fully, he must have prescribed a delivery manipulate that could purpose you to pass durations deliberately, as a substitute of recommending you simply pass the placebo drugs for a few months. I could pass to a further physician.
