On my 5th round of Clomid?

I have now been on clomid for 5 months. The first four I had taken 50mg days 5-9 and 3-7, got bad side effects ie Major hot flashes, night sweats, breat tenderness for 2 weeks before my period, as well as mood swings. I have not been monitored by my doctor at all so im not sure I ovulated but because of ovulation signs I believe i have yet still no pregnancy.

My doctor upped the dosage on my 5th round at 100mg and I'm suppose to start my period in 5 days. I have had NO side effects from the clomid this time around and thats odd, youd think the side effects would intensify...well i did have small mood wings for a day or two. IS THIS NORMAL??

Did you have side effects throughout the time you took clomid?

What's your story? and please tell me your success story.

I pray it works this time. If i don/t get PG, im giving up...:(

Good luck to all who are trying to conceive..

I find it very odd he let you go that many rounds without upping your dosage. He should have upped it at round 2 or 3 and he should have given you the tools to monitor it. ANYWAYS..... It's normal for you to get used to the drug by that long of a time period even with the increase. I didn't have any luck on Colmid.... not to discourage you. I did find something that worked better and took only one month. I'm hoping that you had your man's sperm tested for mobility and count. If not you should, it might not be you. That being said I found this supplement that you can take and it's all natural. You just have to take it 3 times a day, so you really have to remember. It's called FertilAid and I got the package that comes with the male supplement to so it would help with him to cause I never did get him tested. You just start taking it as soon as it comes in, no matter where you are in your cycle. And again take it 3 times a day. I didn't have any problems with it making me sick. I got the pills in the mail in the middle of my period and by the time my next period was due I already had a postitive on a pregnancy test!! You also need to get the ovulation strips! SO IMPORTANT and they are super cheap on this site, so there is really no excuse not to monitor your ovulation. I know how it is, it took me 15 months to get pregnant and it was heart breaking. I truely hope you find something that works for you. Good luck and never give up!!! :D

With many medications, the longer you're on it the more your body usually adjusts to the common side effects and you tolerate it better, even if you increase the dose. best of luck.
