Changing folder default location for My documents, my pictures etc?
I've recently added a second hard drive and hopefully soon will have it partitioned the way i desire.Once this is complete i would like to change the default location of my computer folder , my pictures folder etc to this second drive so that it is where all data is stored.
I could do this by shortcuts but i have my kids using computer regularly and well getting them to do dishes is hard enough without the headache of teaching them to remember how i've organised the computer.
Question is How do i achieve this?
if everyone went to google what would be the point of yahoo answers then starman?

It depends on which version of windows you have (XP? Vista? 7?). For XP, those are 'system' folders and you will have to edit the registry, probably. Look around on google and microsoft support for better help. I never use them myself. I have even deleted them and windows just puts a new one right back in place.
