Can I make thai coconut sticky rice using arborio rice or long grain rice?
I don't have the special thai rice for sticky rice and I am looking for a substitute.

If you want it sticky obviously sticky rice is the way to go, but you can make it with whatever you have, it will still taste great. Also, by breaking down the gluten a bit in the long grain rice, it can get a bit sticky, so try stirring it while cooking, or after.
