Can God contradict himself?

The Bible is assumed to be the best book in the world and no book in the whole history of Humanity could take this high position the Bible enjoy. Therefore, all Christians believe it's the word of God!! Well, let's see if an All-Knowing and wise God can say something like this:

1 - In Samuel II: 24 (And again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, "Go, number Israel and Judah.")>>>>>> BUT>>>>> in Chronicles II: 21 (And SATAN stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel)==> Is it the Lord or Satan???

2 - In Samuel II 24:13 (So Gad came to David and told him, and said unto him, "Shall SEVEN years of famine come unto thee in thy land?..)>>>>>> BUT >>>> in Chronicles I 21:11 (So Gad came to David, and said unto him, "Thus saith the Lord, 'Choose thee 12 Either THREE YEARS' famine, or three months to be destroyed ...)===> Is it 7 years or 3 years of famine?

3 - In Samuel II 10:18 (And the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew the men of SEVEN HUNDRED chariots of the Syrians, and forty thousand HORSEMEN, and smote Shobach the captain of their host.) >>>> BUT>>>>> in Chronicles I 19:18 (But the Syrians fled before Israel; and David slew of the Syrians SEVEN THOUSAND men which fought in chariots, and forty thousand FOOTMEN, and killed Shophach the captain of the host.)===> is it 700 chariots or 7000 & are they HORSEMEN or FOOTMEN?

4 - In Luke 23:26 (As they led him away, they seized a man, SIMON OF CYRENE, who was coming from the country, and THEY LAID THE CROSS ON HIM AND MADE HIM CARRY IT....)>>>>> BUT>>>>> in John 19:16 (Then he Pilate) handed him over to them to be crucified. So THEY TOOK JESUS; AND CARRYING THE CROSS HIMSELF, he went to what is called the Place of the Shull,....)===> Who carried the cross, Simon of Cyrene or Jesus himself?

5 - In Mark 16:1-2 And when the sabath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the Mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him. And very early on the first day of the week they went to the tomb WHEN THE SUN HAD RISEN)>>>> AND >>>>> in John 20:1 (Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, WHILE IT WAS STILL DARK, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb) >>> BUT AGAIN >>>> in Matt 28:1-2 (Now after the sabbath, TOWARD THE DAWN of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the sepulchre. And behond, there was a great earthquick; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone, and sat upon it.) ==> When Mary Magdalene and Mary went to the tomb: WHEN THE SUN HAD RISEN #OR# WHILE IT WAS STILLD ARK #OR# TOWARDS THE DAWN?

6 - In Matt 27:3-6 (When Judas, his betrayer, saw that Jesus was condemned, he repented and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to down the pieces of silver in the temple, he departed; and HE WENT AND HANGED HIMSELF)>>>> BUT >>>> In Acts 1:18 (Now this man acquired a field with the reward of his wickedness; and falling headlong, HE BURST OPEN IN THE MIDDLE AND ALL HIS BOWELS GUSHED OUT)===> What happened to Judas in fact? Did he HANG HIMSELF or did he FALL IN A FIELD AND DIED AND HIS BOWELS GUSHED OUT?

You wanna more? lol i guess that is enough for now though i can give over 100 contradictions like that. So, is the Bible still the word of God and can God make such silly mistakes or is the Bible a mere historical record where different opinions vary and clash?

Update:

OOOPS, i forget to say this: do u imagine God giving humanity a pornographic book by which they live and which encourages INSECT and porno and lust? i guess that's why porn industry is successful today, because they obey the will of God!!!! SONG OF SONGS IS THE BEST EXAMPLE IN THE BIBLE

Update 2:

Just to make it clear, i dont deny God and i dont think God can contradict himself and, therefore, i deny the Bible we have today as the true Word of God but its distorted and changed from the original Bible of Jesus...

Update 3:

✞Ephesians 2:8 ✞ for u 1+1 can be both 2 and 3 and i dont know what logic u use to correlate two contradictory things and when u came to numbers u said transcription error, while they are written in alphabets and not in numbers. But i guess i understand ur reason, you strive to compromise between clashed verses so that no verse feels angry with the other, thanks for the good intention!!!!

Sunshine...for EVERY supposed Contradiction that you post I can show you that they are not contradictions...

1.This is not a contradiction because both are true. Like in many cases throughout the Bible, such as the temptation of Jesus in the desert and Peter's denial of the Lord, these actions were done under the influence of satan, but with God's stamp of approval as well, since God knew that the result would ultimately favor Him. In this case, David's pride was driving him further from God, and God knew that David needed to be punished so that he could learn to rely on God, and not on himself. God allowed David's disobedience to go ahead, knowing the negative affect it would have upon his self-pride. Not a contradiction.

2.These are actually two different situations being described here. Reading the passages around it, you will see that the 2 Samuel threat happens before David repents, and the 1 Chronicles situation happens after David repents. Due to David's repentance, God lowered the threat of famine from seven years to three years. Not a contradiction.

3.Like with the previous question, it would be easy to confuse 700 and 7000 when transcribing, so this was almost certainly a transcribing error and not an error in the original texts. As for horsemen vs. footmen, many soldiers are able to fight on both horse or foot, so the 40,000 here could easily be described as both 'horsemen' and 'footmen'. Not a contradiction.

4.Both are true. Simon carried it part of the way, and Jesus carried it part of the way. Not a contradiction.

5.They evidently arrived as dawn was first breaking. At this time, it is still relatively dark. Not a contradiction.

6.And he indeed hath possessed a field of the reward of iniquity, and being hanged, burst asunder in the midst: and all his bowels gushed out.

The critic here is only supposing that the 'and it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem' in the Acts 18 passage is referring to Judas' bowels gushing out. More likely, it's referring to the beginning of this passage, the purchase being with the reward of iniquity (in other words, the selling of Jesus to the authorities), which is in agreement with Matthew. Not a contradiction.

IF YOU HAVE ANY MORE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE ACUTAL TRUTH I CAN AND WILL BE GLAD TO SHOW YOU...GODS WORD IS TRUTH MY FRIEND...NO LIE, NO CONTRIDICTIONS....

Have you ever been at a crime scene and asked the varrious wittnesses what happened. There is truth that is obvious, then there is the input from the minds of the viewers seprate points of view. Each is exactly true. The esentals are there. The facts are there. The personalities of the writters are also there acting as a interpeting factor. The Gospels are just that. There is the Truth, and there is also the presentation of the points of view of the wittnesses.

The overriding fact in Judaism and Christianity is that God is One Lord. Hear O Isreal, the Lord our God is One Lord. The unity of God is unquestionable. God can not disagree with himself. Any interpetation of scripture or narrative that asks if God disagrees with himself disregards the first principals, or primise of the Bible.

All else comes in the light of that one single belief

That would be true, if God lived above the clouds and wrote books to people on one planet. How can you think that the Bible was literally written by God? God exists, but not as some bearded man with as much emotional baggage as a normal person. God is not some guy. God is the personal and creative spiritual force of nature, nothing more nothing less. The Bible and organized religions create atheists.

God cannot contradict Himself. He is truth. The purpose of the Bible is to instruct us of His word and to live our lives with Him accordingly. Why do people search specifically to twist the pureness of His word? That energy trying to disprove Him or prove He contradicts Himself is time spent foolishly,

Cling to God and His word to live. Lets make the Bible a positive book. In that sense, it is still the best book because there are a lot of people who want to disprove and contradict the holiness of it. It is truly the most controversial book out there to those that seek to make it evil.

    God keep u.

for #6, Acts 1:18 describes what happens after Matthew 27:5 happens. he bursted open after he hung himself and decayed.

The Bible is the best friend you can ever have: always there for you through the thick and thin.

No, he is not capable of it. Scriptures were not only written by men as eye witness to what they saw, heard, and were told but many religions have tried to alter what is in the Bible text. So to blame God for what man has done is not the brightest idea someone has had.
