Native American Stereotypes?

I am writing a paper on the Native American culture and am needing a little help. I really need to interview those of the Native American culture.

1. Do you still face stereotypes today? If so, please give me examples and which stereotypes offend you?

2. Do you wish you could change such stereotypes? If so, how do you think this could be changed?

3. In your own opinion, where do you think some of these stereotypes originated from?

If you could answer with as much detail as possible that would be great. Thank you.

Update:

I would like to make in known that I am not attacking the Native American culture. My grandmother is full blooded Cherokee Indian. However, I need more input from other Native Americans than just her. I chose to write this paper on Native Americans so that I could learn more about the culture. However, this is a cultural diversity class; so knowing, stereotypes is a very big factor for this paper.

I think there is a stereotype that they have 'tribal names' like "Dances With Wolves"...
