This depends on the type of Dr you are looking
for, but since this is the pain management section
of Y!A, I would suggest asking people you know,
who have similar problems. The Yellow Pages of
the phone book will list many, but not all Drs
in your area.
Pharmacists are good resources for lists of
Drs that treat certain conditions.
Is there a Medical Center near your location?
Many of those a surrounded by pharmacies with
armed guards, and many of those pharmacies
cater to pain management. Most Pain Management
pharmacies have brochures for Drs specializing
in certain types of pains. Some of the brochures
list the medical reports they require to treat a patient.
The particular Drs in your area may be researched
at the Better Business Bureau, State Board of
Medical Examiners, or even the Professional
Specialty they practice, like AAFP, or ENT, or
Oncology.
