I, like DENNIS, donated to Senator Browns' campaign and I am feeling a lot of different emotions about his vote on a bill that is 'only' 15 BILLION $$$. I feel deceived and let down by him~ but he is only a politician at the end of the day. The scrutiny he has just brought his way will hopefully remind him of the power of the American voters. We built him up and we sure as hell can knock him down along with all the others who will not represent us the way we want to be represented, not what is in Their best interest. I am so sick of the dishonorable men and women acting like they are looking out for the American People when we all know they are out right lying to our faces. It seems that some one gets elected now because they are a better liar then their opponent. Infuriating! While I am heated, I am getting on his web sight and blasting him. Thank you for asking the question we have all been thinking.
EDIT: I wish I could give JimW several thumbs up. Very well put.

I, like hundreds of thousands other Americans, donated to Scott's campaign because of his words (fiscal responsibility) being used in every speech. I am greatly disappointed in this vote. Yes, it's only 15 billion dollars (????) of our money instead of the originally proposed $85 billion but sends clearr signals to the voters to be very wary about their congressional and local political promises.
Brown's sucked into the idea that any government bill to fund "jobs" is going to work. What happened to the original "Jobs Stimulus" bill? 1/3 got spent and no "Jobs" were created but a lot were "saved". The other 2/3rds still languishes in slush funds to be used by the prgressives to push their re-elections in 2010 and 2012. Does anyone really think that the government has anyone's best interests in mind other than themselves? Also, why should anyone think that $5 billion will go to some govt jobs and $10 billion remaining won't be added to the above Democratic/progressive slush fund? There was a time in this country when millions would buy an election and everyone screamed. Now it's billions. When are the taxpayers going to finally wake up and stop it dead in its tracks?
I sincerely hope that Brown comes to his senses. His phone and emails were crashed yesterday and I hope he gets the message. We know also from his words that he is staunchly opposed to Healthcare and Cap and Trade. We'll have to monitor his votes there. I guess, when you're a Republican/Conservative from Massachusetts, you have to pander to the super majority of voters in Massachusetts so that might explain why he voted that way. We'll have watch him closely from here on.

well, first off....i had questions about this guy from day one with his past voting record, and (and not trying to sound cynical here, so if i "offend" anybody, let me "apologize" up front) let's face it, this is Massachusetts so i wouldn't be expecting too many miracles to begin with. i just found that everything he was saying during the run-up was just too centered, and on topic and i found myself reading between the lines so to speak. contrary to what some on the left said here about the bill being mostly "tax cuts" that's not really the problem with this ridiculous minuscule bill that won't "create" one job to begin with. why are we spending another 15 billion when there is still "porkulus" that hasn't been spent, but even more curious, why aren't we spending money that was returned back from the banks. that's what made the "porkulus" such a fraud, it is now known that it is going to be an endless spending package for the dems and obama. there was no reason to spend another 15 billion when we already have funds allocated. i'll tell you what, the american people had better wake up pretty fast or we all are going to be eating dirt and dung just like they do in some parts africa that i've been to. it's a shame Brown couldn't or wouldn't read thru this fraud, but it's good people on the right got to see this. look for more "surprises" from our number "41" and remember, he's a polititian who'll save his job first before country.

superb attempt on your area yet what maximum conservatives applauded appropriate to the election of Scott Brown replaced into the top to the filibuster-evidence majority. . . as you have reported. additionally we celebrated the top to having socialized drugs thrust down the throats of all individuals decrease than the possibility of arrest. a plenty compromised jobs bill which has allowed Republican enter is a a techniques cry from the in the back of-closed doors, backroom deal making, shape destroying, wellness care bill they tried to rigidity on us. The election of Scott Brown has achieved the hopes of maximum conservatives and no. . . we in no way theory he replaced into something yet a very average to left leaning Republican, no longer a real conservative interior the strictest experience of the be conscious. No marvel, marvel or unhappiness on my area. . . if he can end the wellness care insanity i will settle for a vote for this jobs bill. . . reluctantly. I doubt that many tea social gathering contributors are as very much shocked as this gloating article from the left seems to relish implying . . . and as you look to do. We knew ahead that Brown could vote in some techniques that authentic conservatives ought to no longer condone, and that the liberals could build it into some style of destructive media drama-fest while that handed off. Yawn. Brown isn't a real conservative and maximum people people who're have continuously universal that.

Considering that it is only suppose to be 15 billion total, it is a very small bill with no major power so it doesn't matter if moderates swap sides. Even Voinivich from Ohio voted for this bill since Ohio is in bad shape job wise.

Scott is not a conservative however he is better than a Kennedy.
I don't think there is one job in that bill for the private sector.

No one seriously votes indepndently against a jobs bill unless told by the party to vote in bloc.

So much for a conservative messiah. Just another RINO. Anyone wth a brain knows this is PORKULUS II & will do NOTHING to help the economy.
Politics as usual.

Brown is, as I suspected, a closet liberal and democrat. What else do you expect from a senator from Massachussetts?
PS-He just came out of the closet. You can expect more of the same.

No, this bill finally makes loans available to small business rather than put more people on the government payroll as prior "jobs" bills have done.
