The killer whale at Sea World "was involved" in two other human deaths.?

Is it time to assign him to a new location closer to the Toyota headquarters?

Yes, Tillikum, who was nicknamed Tilly was implicated in two other deaths before killing Dawn Brancheau yesterday February 24, 2010. In 1991, trainer Keltie Lee Byrne fell into a tank holding Tillikum and two other whales at Sealand of the Pacific in Victoria, Canada. A homicide inquest found that the whales had prevented Byrne from climbing out of the tank and ruled her death an accident.

After being transferred to Sea World in Orlando, Tillikum again was connected to the death of a person in 1999. The person in 1999, a man, was found laying on the back of Tillikum, dead. He was believed to had died from extreme hypothermia. He also had bruises and scratches on his body.

    Hope this helps!!!

I don't know about the Toyota headquarters. Lol. I was reading about it and one person mentioned selling him to the Japanese and they could make the Orca sushi they love so much.....

  • No...but he should not be allowed to perform anymore..Yesterday's death of 40 yr Dawn Brancheau(married but no children) was a accident...Her hair got caught in Tilikum's teeth and he thrashed her around several times, her shoe fell off and then he took her under for 3-4 minutes..he then brought her back up again, hair still in it's mouth..she had a look of horror on her face and she went under again...we are unsure if she died from the trashing around or drowning, the autopsy will show! He was blamed for the '91 drowning death of a trainer in British, Columbia..The trainer slipped and Tilikum also took that person under..Tilikum most likely thought that the trainer in columbia and the trainer from yesterday were fish...they do not have the greatest eyesight up close! The incident in '99 was not Tilikum's fault as that guy sneaked into seaworld after hours and jumped into the whales tank..that guy was an idiot! My friend "alan" is a trainer at orlando's seaworld park!

Great answers. But I'm surprised no one said this:

SET HIM FREE. I'd be a bit peeved if I had to spend the rest of my life cooped up in a tank performing stupid tricks. The whale's probably thinking, "If I just off a few more people, they'll let me back into the ocean..."

Even the whale wouldn't drive a Toyota.

I love the Orca sushi answer. That would be a perfect end for that mean old whale. :)
