I have a simple plan to fix the economy.?

My idea if enacted would reduce consumption of oil, put people to work, shore up the social security system, increase the tax base, teach the young good work ethics, help those who need it most the poor and working poor, put millions of green technology vehicles on the road in a short period of time and not cost any money nor make government any larger.

But I don't know whom to contact to present my idea, I've tried to contact my congressman and senators but they never replied, neither did either the republican or democratic parties and an email to the president got me a campaign contribution sales pitch email.

Update:

Yes I attempted to contact my congressman and asked for a 5 mins of his time on the phone, his screener blew me off and said whatever I had they had already considered it and the congressmans time was too important to waste.

Have you contacted your Congress representative and ask him to bring your idea to Capital Hill..

It's very difficult to help you not knowing what your idea is but I can tell you that if no one makes money with your idea than no one will care. Good luck.

If you think you have a viable plan start with your local university's econ department and get the idea vetted, turned into a research paper, and published. then it will have legitimacy with a politician.
