Mixed-race girls identify with their "white" side?
I saw on tv this girl from a girl group saying that she's french. SHE DID NOT LOOK FRENCH AT ALL; and by french I mean white, which is what the typical french is.
She was like, half-french, half-vietnamese, but she was only asserting that she was "french", and looked annoyed when the interviewer was pointing out her vietnamese roots.
I've also noticed this in other half/mixed - race girls. why is that???
Mooink : don't you get me started on french self-identity.
Sarkozy and de Villaupin will laugh at your ***.

I'm 3/4 white and 1/4 black, I identify more with my "black" side. I'm not ghetto or a "hood rat" but if people ask what race I am my first instinct is to say "black" not bi-racial. Which you would think I'd stop doing since I live in a predominantly white community but oh well. If people hate me they can hate me I'm not losing sleep over it lol.

blind side?
You don't have to "look french" to be french. Get that out of your head. I sense, you are jealous because she is on TV and you ant.
Quit being ignorant.

What? I think you mean, "Why do mixed-race people identify with their black side, and black side only?"
Look at famous mixed people like Halle Berry, Beyonce, NeYo, etc. - they identify as black.
