Does it hurt to get a microdermal piercing removed and does it scar?
I have one by my eye and it's been hard to get a job so I am thinking of getting it removed but I am afraid it's going to hurt and scar.

Yes, it's going to hurt, it pretty much needs to be cut out to be removed. And yes, it will more than likely scar but how badly will depend on your own skin type and how bad, in general, you tend to scar. Once it has healed from removal (2 or 3 months) you can begin using a scar fading product but they MUST be used several times a day EVERY day for 3-4 months to see results.
THIS is why body mods should NOT be taken lightly, I love my tattoos and piercings, but I make sure they are all easily hidden.

A microdermal is way different than a regular piercing itself. And leaves noticable scars later in life. The risk of rejection is extremely high as well.
