to the ladies young old and in between why do most of you shave part or all of your body hair?

Anyway, I guess my answer is that I don't mind having body hair. I don't shave much during the winter cuz I'm all covered up, but in the summer, I shave my armpits and legs. I shave my armpits because it just looks more decent if I'll be wearing tank tops where people may occasionally see my armpits. I shave my legs during summer because like one of the answerers says, I wear shorts and skirts in the summer. And my legs obviously look better smoother than hairier. If people didn't mind the hairiness, or if it was decent and okay to be all hairy, I honestly wouldn't bother with shaving my armpits or legs, even when I wore tanks and shorts ;)

I shave my legs, etc, because I just generally find it more comfortable and prefer my skin to feel smooth. I also find it looks better when wearing shorts or skirts.

I don't do it to impress men, I do it because I feel more confident and comfortable that way.

because hairy men are bad enough, hairy women are just scary.
