What is the largest usb hub available?
I have found a 49 port hub (Cambrionix in the UK). Does anyone know of a bigger one? Additionally, perhaps, does anyone know a company that could custom design and build a larger one?
Thanks
Checked out the Thanko 80 port- that is a large charging station and does not handle data. Cool piece of equipment tho.

I think 49 would be about your biggest.
The maximum theoretical devices connected to any single USB2 master port is 127. By master I mean actually in the PC/Laptop. However the maximum bandwidth per master USB2 port is 480Mbps.
If all 31 devices required an equal amount of bandwidth this would then leave you with 9.8Mbps per device. Very very slow for copying pics from your camera, etc.

Hi, I think Cambrionix will build one if you ask. the 80 port hubs only charges though :)

just keep it simple the more usb's you use the more strain the CPU and power supply needs to take
so if thats what you found either use that or none at all
