Why are cigarettes sold at gas stations where smoking is prohibited?

    Only smoking is prohibited NOT buying or selling

    So when you stop for your gas and scratch offs you can get a pack of smokes. It's really convenient that way (hence the name convenience store.)

    becuase most gas stations are considered convenient stores making it more convenient for you to buy gas and cigarettes at the same time...

    Because people can drive away and smoke them somewhere else..

    Because they can sell them at about $2.00 more a pack to the el desperado traveller !!
