If you remove a 'friend' on facebook?
Do they get a notification telling them you've removed them? Is there any way to prevent this if it does happen?

If you remove someone from your friend list, that person doesn't get notification that you remove a friend on the list.

they dont get notified you just vanish from their friend list.they will be able to see you arnt friends if they search for you now tho,and the only way to stop that is to block them.but if u suddenly disappear altogether they kinda guess that you've blocked em.

also, you can block anyone on facebook, even if they are not in your friends list. you just enter their name in the block box and click block.they just vanish, cannot contact you or see your posts.

No, they do not get notified. If they click on your profile it will say "add as friend". Its like you were never friends.

well only reason i would delete a friend is if they upset me :)
