Spiritually speaking... Would giving the gift of love be like this?

Give the gift of life from what power you have to give.

For those who believe... in Christ

I notice that Christ, searched for the outcasts.. and even if you don't believe in Christ, your thoughts on the above...

Update:

yes... I love to be seen as a bright Star for God... smiles, and I notice, the cowardliness of you Real Truth, no emails allowed... not open questions, where is your worth? Your virtue?

an unwritten credo of rescue teams everywhere runs deep in this one statement

"for no greater love hath a man that he should give his life for that of another"

it is also evident in the military - leave no man behind

fire/rescue - if you go we go

    so on and so forth.

I have been to to many funerals and seen so many give theirs for others to think otherwise.

Blessings to all Yes i really think that love is a gift and a blessings, because when you love you are willing freely to give the best of you for the cause or for some one you care about deeply you are willing to sacrifice your every thing even your own life for that cause, that belief or person/s and this is so awesome that any one will be ready to do this for another human being expecting nothing. This feeling of Universal love is what keep the World holding on is what we have to offer to one another is knowing that some one else care and that we are not alone in the bad times and in the good times even the outcasts God put a label and his for head and says do not touch he is also mines, yes God will use a donkey or a fool to make point at the end of the rope we need each other to survive because alone we are not able to make but with 2 or 3 even 4 we form a strong hold that will not easily break if one fall the others are there to pick one another up. It's looking at each person deep in the eyes and search until you see their soul is finding they need and forgeting bout they fault, this is divine nd un conditional love the greatest love of all and we have it in within we all were born with it as we keep on searching our self and letting go of our pride and attitudes and just be our self we will see that it's in our nature to love and be loved. Nice and very insightful question. Peace and love to all.

Having a belief in a historical figure and having a belief in a spritual truth are different entirely.

Looking back at the works of a man mean little lest the works be followed.

The idea being that the "idea" is larger than the man.

Christ, the man, is unimportant as the role was played many times by the same personality bearing different names at different times and places.

For those seeking "salvation" by way of believing in a certain unfolding of prophetic events, we see events created sub-consciously for the benefit of the conscious expression to move forward; a bridge of sorts for one to travel.

Make no mistake God is love and all expressions.

With that said make no mistake that one planet in one tiny system holds no key to "salvation" as Christ in our terms means nothing to beings elsewhere whom ar also creations of God, or all that is.

One must recognize Christ as a way of living and not a single personality/character or "son of" God. All are sons of God.

As Christ search the outcast we see 'Truth" finding the most ignorant (outcast) and bring truth of reality to each. This is the message,.

For me it starts from the inside out, first I must search for

the parts of me that I've treated as an outcast and bring

them into the rest of me with compassionate forgiveness

towards myself. Goes to anything that splits my mind

with 'double-minded' thinking. I must do this or I can

be of no benefit or help to anyone else and I will reject

in others that which appears like the splintered outcast

parts of me, which causes further distress on the planet.

If I truly LOVE in the BIG unconditional love way, then

no one is excluded just because I don't like or agree

with them or their actions. I MUST remember that

all are created equal, and love from that point. It doens't

mean that I condone the reprehensible, but it does mean

that I can look for that spark of Divinity hardwired into

all and keep my focus on that and be grateful to God for

creating humanity, whether I like how we behave as a grouping

    or not.

    thanks for the love-ly Q :)

  • I wasn't born at the home of a Christian but if something really gives you peace must be loved and accepted whether we know or don't know about him. It's like searching a mystery that we have already divulged in the past. So according to this theory, I too believe in Christ.

Also for me you are a good soul and you love Christ......that means Christ must be a good soul too........In this relation, I too believe in Christ.

Finally my Krishna says in Geeta to love every good thought, idea and person irrespective of any caste, colour and religion. He says that he is present in every good thing.........so in this way I believe in Christ.

BTW, nobody is outcast for me.

Darling, I am an atheist and nothing will ever change that...nothing. I promise. However, I do believe that the power of love is the strongest force known to mankind. Regretfully, I must admit that most people have no heart...well, if they do, then they're not showing it. It's a shame, really, because love is absolutely beautiful :).

Jesus might have been known as a rebel. He was an outcast and He made friends with sinners and the downtrodden so that He could tell them that He loves them. The people who were arrogant and didn't believe that they had ever done anything wrong, were not on his list of friends. Jesus came to save and love sinners. Praise God! This includes me!

My grace is sufficient for you, my power is made in weakness.

    2 Corinthians 12:9

God has never been impressed with strength or self-sufficiency. In fact, he is drawn to people who are weak and admit it. Jesus regarded this recognition of our need as being "poor in spirit" Matthew 5:3 It's the number one attitude he blesses.

The Bible is filled with examples of how God loves to use imperfect, ordinary people to do extraordinary things in spite of their weaknesses. If God only used perfect people, nothing would ever get done, because none of us is flawless. That God uses imperfect people is encouraging news for all of us:)

Anyone can love, thus it is not a gift but a virtue. And if everyone had it,the world would be much better.
