  • Delusions of reality?

If the definition of a Delusion is having an idea of truth that goes against facts tending to disproove the Delusion; is the delusional person so sick mentaly or morally they cannot accept said facts to disproove their ideas in their particular Religion? Have the Religious noted that the Bible has a man-made origin and man made interpretation? Why do they take it literal disregarding information it's a metaphorical work? Why have they ignored everything Outside of thier religion that tends to indicate they are wrapped up in ideas of untruth as they discard the truth? "If the bible said it, it must be true" is a concept that baffles the intelligent...why can they not see other sources of information on reality are not "The devils work"...

  • Is there a legal right for a Church /synagog to have their views posted like everyone elses at equal cost?

I recently requested Equal space at Equal cost ( free) to place a Spiritual editorial in a small newspaper having plenty of space and was denied even a review of my materiel. The Papers office manager advised that they simply were not looking for new materiel on"religion" at this time. The newspaper has 2 current Christian Fundementalist views from the 7th day Adventist and another Generic "Church of God". I have appealed twice and have twice been denied even a review of my materiel.

  • Religions that are highly reflective of to modern Christianity?

I'd like a list of all other cultures/Religions throughout history that have striking simalarities with the Christianity of today. Find me dieties with sons whom died, or were "sacrificed for others"...find me others whom have "risen"; find cultures with "gods" or non-physical personalities that numer 12. Indulge me a little?

  • God, the definition. Why a rush to define God as opposed to experiencing God?

Looking at history can anyone observe that near all cultures whom recorded events recorded reality via their own cultural lens? History shows us there were 12 Apostles, 12 signs of the Chinese zodiac, 12 Greek Olympians , 12 tribes of Israel and the list continues. Note that all of the former "12's" have differnet characteristics? The Apostles were very different in nature and characteristics also. Do you see a connection ? Rudeness and shallow insults encouraged!

  • Chrysler 300 warning lights?

We have a 2004 Chry 300. It starts for 3 seconds then stops. This is associated with a small red light on the lower left of the panel just below the speedometer; the Engine Light Does Not come on. The car started 3-4 times and now won't start, any clue?

  • Judeo-Christian beliefs, why has the hell concept ever changing?

It's well recorded that the Christian faith has been one of evolution. Not a physical one but one of it's own Doctrines.

One can see early on "hell and damnation" "Savior and believers" evolved slowly by Church doctrines.

Looking at the "Hell" issue it is Well Recorded in Doctrines and biblical text that this was once a place of Cold; even "Satan" was depicted as a blue being residing in the underworld of Ice.

Hell eventualy became a hot place, fire-brimestone and such and all the symbolisms and metaphoric phrases within the bible were apparently used in the literal sense as a weapon of coercion to recruit and maintain membership.

Is this hell metaphoric or is this hell literal fire or ice? Please pick and clarify why so?

If Ice was the first concept ( do your own homework) why is fire, the second so attractive to You...or not...

  • Where does you consciousness reside?

Consciousness is not dependant of the physcal form as it is within the self and outside the self upon physical death. Each cell within the body "dies" within a human lifetime; the cells are replaced one by one as needed. With that in mind, isen't it true that ones entire body would "die" during a few years as each cell is replaced? If this is correct biology, then where might Your Consciousness reside? Does it "jump around" the body as cells die?

    Just a thought.

  • 1957 Pontiac Star-Chief Restoration.?

    Please, experienced intelligent answers only.

I am contemplating the purchase and restoration of a 57 Starchief.

The vehicle is in fair shape, I rate it as 5.5 to 6 of ten points on the scale. The body has a little visible rust, nothing deep, no holes and No dents anywhere; the chrome is 90% good to go and is sweet, with one exception on the left rear bumper. The intererior is ok, the upolstery needs replacement and window seals also; the paint is to be replaced and I intend on painting over a Lime green exterior and intererior with a Cream off white over Rootbeer brown.

It runs, has no obviouse engine issues, needs to be cleaned and painted under the hood and some chrome added where applicable.

The issue is I am not highly experienced in any automotive field; yet, I can do some work and I do have friends whom have high experience in all restoration areas, mechanics, auto-body-paint-wiring and so on.

I would like an assesment on what one is getting into in time-cost?

  • REVELATIONS; what is your Interpretation?

Please give your interpretations of the "Christian" Revelations. Please, think carefully as to symbolic and literal meanings as they are two different sides of the coin.

Also Consider carefully the Christian "Bibles" entire works, or the works you have read and determine if that work is intended as Literal or symbolic as it is important you see what you read.

A brief of that Chapter should do.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Describe God?

Can you describe God, as you honestly feel God is actually, that way?

    Is God masculine-feminine?

    A singular being?

Can you describe the very Nature of reality with an honest well thought out method?

Can you religious types tell us why the bible goes back a short period and leaves the rest of mankind out of the bible for the 65,000 years prior to Christ and the Old testimate ?

Can you do all of the above without quoting any Bible ? :)
