Flying from Pittsburgh but lost my license?

I am flying out of Pittsburgh, but I lost my driver's license. I have an expired license, my birth certificate, and my college ID. I am wondering how much hassle I will get at the airport, or will I be able to fly at all?

Call your airline and explain your situation and see what they say.

My ID was stolen out of my hotel room several years ago (pre-9/11) and I had to file a police report stating my ID was stolen and used the report to board my flight. If they were that strict then, I could only imagine the rules are tougher now.

Its up to the TSA whether or not they will permit you past their checkpoint. They do have provisions however for travelers who have LOST their ID, as opposed to refuse to show ID. It doesn't make much sense, but basically if you lost your ID you will generally still be able to fly, after some secondary screening.

Not able to fly the rules changed last year. No Valid ID No Fly.

You need a current photo I.D. If you don't have that , they will accept other forms if I.D., but will probbly put you through a secondary screening too. See site below.
