  • My Macbook won't turn on?

I have a 2009 Macbook (regular one, not pro). I let the energy get to 0% because I fell asleep watching a movie last night. This morning, when I went to turn it on, I plugged it into the charger and tried to turn it back on. While the charger lights up to indicate it is charging, the computer does not turn on when I press the button. Please help!!

  • Late period and Plan B?

I took Plan B on March 29th after my boyfriend's condom broke, and the following Sunday, I got a heavy period that only lasted three days, and it was a week or so earlier than my normal cycle. I should have gotten my regular period last week if I were on cycle, but I still have not gotten it. Should I be worried about this late period meaning I might be pregnant, or is this typical?

  • Plan b and getting your period?

I took plan b emergency contraception last Monday, March 29th, after my boyfriend's condom broke early Sunday morning, so it was about 24 hours after this happened. Last Sunday, April 4th, I thought I began my period, which would have been about a week early, but I only bled for 2 days. The bleeding was pretty heavy, like the first couple days of a period, and then it stopped. Is this normal?

  • Implantation bleeding or period?

I had sex for the first time two Fridays ago, and on Sunday, I started what I thought was my period. It started light, and it is about a week and a half early. The past two days have seemed like a normal period and I see blood a little less than my normal period. I am wondering if this is my period or implantation bleeding? It is usually red in color although sometimes parts of it are brown, like I have read implantation bleeding looks like, and today was the fourth day.

    Thanks.

  • Problems in this study?

A researcher is interested in the effectiveness of review sessions in preparing students for exams. When he compares attendance rates at review sessions and grades, he finds that frequent attenders get much higher grades than infrequent attenders do. On the basis of these observations, he recommends the use of review sessions? Could he be overlooking something?

  • Freud and cognitive psychology?

Freud claims that slips of the tongue are caused by peoples' personal problems. To illustrate his point, he describes the case of a young man he talked to on a train who made a slip of the tongue. By asking the man to free associate to the slip of the tongue, Freud soon found an association to an important personal problem that was bothering the man.

If Freud had been able to find an association to a personal problem for every slip of the tongue he observed, would that prove his point? Talk about at least one of the following: sampling bias, observer reliability, observer bias, self-report bias, chance, small sample size, data fishing, order effect.
