if i have two 3000 pound winches pulling parallell does that mean i am pulling 6000 pounds?

i am trying to pull a piece of cable wire and i have a solid loop on one end of the cable, and a I-beam on the other end, but both of my come alongs are only rated for 3000lb. if i hook them both to the same point and start cranking, will i be able to pull over the 3000lb? they are running parallel, not in series.

Yes. If you hook them up properly you should be able to pull up to 6000 lbs.
