What do you think of Al Gore’s END OF THE WORLD Global Warming prophecies?

The snow and ice is thawing, spring and summer is on its way… Soon the Global warmers will surface from hibernation to continue with blaming mankind for Global warming. Global warmer season is nearing.

Al Gore has came out of hiding after admitting to flawed science and his mistakes the Goreacle appears ready to continue on with his prophecies of inevitable doom for humankind and planet earth.

Here are some quotes of what Al Gore had to say from his new opinion article in the new york times…

“It is true that the climate panel published a flawed overestimate of the melting rate of debris-covered glaciers in the Himalayas, and used information about the Netherlands provided to it by the government, which was later found to be partly inaccurate. In addition, e-mail messages stolen from the University of East Anglia in Britain showed that scientists besieged by an onslaught of hostile, make-work demands from climate skeptics may not have adequately followed the requirements of the British freedom of information law.

But the scientific enterprise will never be completely free of mistakes.” -- Al Gore

“It would be an enormous relief if the recent attacks on the science of global warming actually indicated that we do not face an unimaginable calamity requiring large-scale, preventive measures to protect human civilization as we know it.” -- Al Gore

“Almost all of the ice-covered regions of the Earth are melting — and seas are rising.” -- Al Gore

“Hurricanes are predicted to grow stronger and more destructive, though their number is expected to decrease.” -- Al Gore

“Droughts are getting longer and deeper in many mid-continent regions, even as the severity of flooding increases.” -- Al Gore

“The seasonal predictability of rainfall and temperatures is being disrupted, posing serious threats to agriculture.” -- Al Gore

“The rate of species extinction is accelerating to dangerous levels.” -- Al Gore

“The lags in the global climate system, including the buildup of heat in the oceans from which it is slowly reintroduced into the atmosphere, means that we can create conditions that make large and destructive consequences inevitable long before their awful manifestations become apparent: the displacement of hundreds of millions of climate refugees, civil unrest, chaos and the collapse of governance in many developing countries, large-scale crop failures and the spread of deadly diseases.” -- Al Gore

-------------------------------

Ahh the FEAR, the deadly diseases, the rising seas, floods & droughts at the same time, stronger destructive hurricanes, large-scale crop failures, civil unrest, chaos and the collapse of governance, extinction, and the end of the planet earth!!!!

The great Goreacle has spoken.

According to Al Gore the debate is over Global warming deniers, Flat-Earthers, Inhabitants of Unreality.

Is our only hope to adopt this liberal/progressive NWO global warming religion by 2012 and, for The One… Barack Obama to save us, calm the seas from rising, and stop the world from catching fire?

Is it time to gather together our children, what food and water we have, and run for the mountains and hide in the caves?

If none of this Global doom-saying happens, will Global warmers make it happen? Will humankind, and the economy be charged, billed, taxed, and punished for causing Global warming?

Or is Global Warming one of the evilest political hoaxes ever driven by flawed science, false prophecies, money, power, control, hatred, lies, and fear?

Basically your asking if global warming is man made or not. It is has been proven that the planet is slightly warming. A person can site scientist on both sides of the argument. The one that does it for me is that almost all of the green house gases that causes the green house effect and then in turn global warming is water vapor. Carbon is only a very small percentage of the green house gases. I believe it is 1% or less. I don't want any less water vapor on the earth. I think water is a good thing for the environment. I believe the push is being made for the world carbon tax. The money will end up in the coffers of the UN. I believe though we should get off oil more for geopolitical reason. Also oil will run out, and would better to find alternative energies now before oil shortages become a major world crisis. Also there are some scientist blame increased activity of the sun as enters it next solar cycle as the reason behind global warming.

I would like to wish all the global warm....umm, I mean climate change, believers a very happy End of the World Day. Ten years ago, Al Gore said that by January of 2016, we would all be toast. I celebrated this morning by scraping the ice of my car windows. How about you?

The Ice Age was not brought about by global tropical weather. It is believed to have been brought on by a "Nuclear winter" after the earth was hit by an asteroid. Your idea to plant more trees would be great but in actuality the earth is losing more and more forests due to man, planting a few trees will not help. The increase in hurricanes, super-cell thunderstorms, and the disease caused by insects is increasing at an alarming rate. I don't understand why people don't want to face facts. Why are you unwilling to see what is happening? Why would anyone want to make something like this up? Who gains from it?

All it takes is common sense to realize the planets atmosphere acts as a greenhouse and is what keeps our planet heated as heat and certain gases cannot escape. Carbon Dioxide is one of those gasses and is something we contribute heavily to the atmoshphere. Obviously if carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas and we produce enormous amounts of it then we must be having some affect on this process. Not to say we are causing it as we do live on a planet with natural cycles that are always changing, but we most definitely are not helping.

I'm going for the follow the leader approach on this one. How about, it isn't our fault, blame the native Americans,. It was them that polluted the atmosphere with soot rich smoke to communicate with one another. It's also a well known fact that they supported far to many gas producing Bison herds. It's a wonder we are alive today because of their irrational way of life. Maybe we can straighten it out right after we fix the economy but we sure were left with a mess to clean up.

Besides that there was that whole George Bush era, you know what I mean. Blah blah blah.

I think anyone foolish enough to make this conversation about Al Gore instead of the science behind his movie shouldn't be participating in it.

What do I think? I think that volcanic erruptions have more of an effect on global weather patterns than my wife's SUV. Here's why:

"The effects of the Mt. Pinatubo eruption in 1991 were felt worldwide. It ejected roughly 10 billion metric tonnes (10 cubic kilometres) of magma, and 20 million tons of SO2, bringing vast quantities of minerals and metals to the surface environment. It injected large amounts of aerosols into the stratosphere—more than any eruption since that of Krakatoa in 1883. Over the following months, the aerosols formed a global layer of sulfuric acid haze. Global temperatures dropped by about 0.5 °C (0.9 °F), and ozone depletion temporarily increased substantially." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Pinatubo

Sounds like he's describing climate change as if it just started, whatever rock he just climbed out from under he needs to get back under it.

  • Just a scam to get attention and get money. Global warming is either false or extremely exaggerated
