Garage sale ideas for canine truth?
I've got a little over two months to get my stuff together for the annual neighborhood garage sale. Yes, i'm thinking about it a bit early but that's just how i am - get it all ready long before i need to.
I've narrowed my topics to two: BSL (and "pit bulls") or Puppy Mills. Taking a vote now to see which is should do (or if i should do one in the morning and one in the afternoon.)
Also looking for ideas on stuff i could sell that would be cheap and people would be likely to buy AT a garage sale. I'm doing brownies and cookies, any other ideas? Any ideas that could relate to either topic?
What would YOU be most likely to spend 25 cents to a dollar on?

I vote for pit bull education. You may want to try and sell things that dog owners would want such as blankets and homemade toys.

BSL. A lot of people know about puppy mills, with oprah and all. Every third person I meet tells me that my pit mix turn on me one day, they attack children, they are a danger to other dogs, etc.
A bake sale is an awesome idea. Brownies, cookies, cake....with a cute dog-food theme. Bone-shaped cookie cutters aren't hard to find and if you could find one with a dog shape that would be even better (esp. if looks like a bulldog/other bully breed). Heart shapes with paw print icing in the middle. To top it off, you could bake dog treats, too. Stuff to look like people food, like carob chip cookies. That way the people would be eating "dog food" and the dogs would be eating "people food". Just a cute idea that popped in my head. I'd buy.

puppy mills. And I would do cookies and brownies maybe get dog cut outs and make them in the shape or dogs that would be cute. you could also research homemade dog treats and make some for people with dogs :-) that would be a cute idea too.

BSL it is the harder of the two, but so worth it. Mini cupcakes would be good. I would pay a buck or two for a hand full.

Try Craigslist for your area. Then, on a pleasant day that you appoint, put everything out on tables on your front lawn. If you build it, they will come.
