do people incessantly ask manny about mayweather?

i just caught the 6:30 PTI and they had mayweather on 5 good minutes segment.

they dont even care about whats happening with mosely. all they talk about is pacquiao. yes i understand that is the fight everyone wants to see and floyd understands that also. but jesus stop nagging the guy. i think hes made it pretty clear---you will see mayweather-pacquiao when manny agrees to the test. thats all it is and it wont change so stop asking.

i havnt really seen any manny interviews, but do people constantly ask him about mayweather and what needs to happen to make the fight and if he will agree to mayweathers terms, ect.

PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER WITH YOUR OPINIONS ABOUT WHOS TO BLAME, MAYWEATHER IS A DUCKER, PACQUIAO IS A CHEATER, BLAH BLAH BLAH I DO NOT CARE

just tell me whether or not manny is being harassed similar to the way floyd is about the fight falling through

Yes, it goes both ways. Pac and Roach and Arum are always asked about Mayweather. I went to the Mayweather Mosley Press Conference today...and Mosley even mentioned something about Mayweather avoiding Pacquiao but he can't avoid him (which I thought was funny, and Mayweather deserved it after going on about Shane's HGH use and his divorce).

They only way for people to stop asking them about each other is to settle it in the ring...until then, both fighters know, that the other will always be brought up.

This is another possibility but the more he move himself away from Manny Pacquiao by moving in weight, the more he goes nearer to Sergio Martinez. There will be no more excuse for him not to fight Sergio at 154#. He was asking for 150# catchweight to fight him but that doesn't work anymore and if ever, it would be interesting to see how his fans defend and justify the reason the same way they defend Floyd Mayweather Jr's choice of Cotto after criticizing Pacquiao of fighting his leftover. Cotto is one of the few fighters who can sell PPV, and actually only him, Manny and Floyd. I am expecting some high number but to say that the credit belong solely to Floyd is hilarious and ludicrous. It is also the figure that Floyd/Oscar generate that he was using to claim himself the PPV king and I am expecting for him to do the same thing on this fight.

Bro, if the media aint moving on, the fans arent as well. I understand that it's almost a guarantee that if someone mentions Mayweather, then pacquaio also comes up or vice versa. I agree that people needs to move on. Check out this article by Michael Rosenthal of Ring magazine:

According to Michael Rosenthal of Ring Magazine:

    "MOST TIRESOME"

"Pacquiao-Mayweather talk: Enough is enough. We have two compelling welterweight fights coming up – Manny Pacquiao vs. Joshua Clottey and Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Shane Mosley – and we continue to discuss failed efforts to make Pacquiao-Mayweather and the fall out. The journalists keep asking about it and the participants have no qualms about responding, in part because they don’t want to get one-upped by the other side. OK, we’ve heard all the arguments and everyone has come to their own conclusions, whatever they are. Let’s move on and enjoy the fights on the horizon. We can revisit Pacquiao-Mayweather if and when they enter negotiations a second time."

They sure are still the headline makers and the talk of the boxing town especially in the USA and the Philippines. Without them, who would we be talking about? The heavyweights suck! The middleweights only have Kelly Pavlik. The Super Six tournament in the super middleweights hardly gather attention except for the hard-core boxing fans. Juan Manuel Lopez and Yuriorkis Gamboa are still establishing themeselves as marquee names. Those very good fighters from Asia like Hasegawa and Chris John wouldn't want to leave their territory. So...we are left with just those two high-profiled, popular and accomplished boxers to really talk about. Fact is, without one or the other, boxing today also sucks!

The Pacman fans do not actually harass him about questions on Mayweather. They are more interested on his love life, political campaigns and movies in the making or concerts. Good luck.

Nobody harrasses manny like floyd die-hards do. To mayweather fans manny is a inferior and they are the minority. To BWAA and the majority of the boxing world he is "best of the decade" and P4P.

    Envy.......
