Am I being scammed for money? Read the following msg, I want your opinions.?

"How are you doing today with everything in general hope very fine with you and all around you? I am doing very fine too despite the poor condition of this camp,I have the feeling that this piece of mail will reach you in a perfect state of mind and in a better healthy condition. 


Actually it takes once to know a friend by one day and we will start learning each other gradually, actually i want us to be friends though i know distance is far but i believe that love is a bridge that can connect far distance to be closer.TRUE LOVE is the most Precious Treasure, True Love is the most Beautiful Emotion but very difficult to find True Love in this selfish world. I have seen the life very closely, that's why I know how precious Love is.

About my family,. I was brought up from Christan family in the family of Late Dr Richard Y and my late mother Mrs Flora Y.  My  late father was a full time politician and businessman, While my mother is a nurse in Yamoussoukro the capital city of Ivory Cost before there death in 2004.

My dear i will to join you over there in your country with your family as my life is going down here daily i am suffering in this prison called refugee were people are not taking care of and where there is no food rather treating us like a prisoner. Imagine a young girl like me staying where people are not taking care of us only remembering my past each day in my life where other girls are enjoying with there family and celebrating there life but i spend all my season in this prison.

Please i need your help i am writing this latter with tears runing out from my eyes even to eat i have nothing to eat i am not talking about my dress but the problem is to eat and to be free out from here but i belive and hope on you please don't allow me to die here God bless you as you help me out from here.

In my next mail i will tell you more about my self and give you the telephone number you will use to call me and there is one secret thing i will like to share with you hope to hear from you soonest.

yes, i think you are. if the person emailed it, how could the person have a computer if they are poor and starving? if they mailed it, how could they afford stamps when they can barely afford food?? just ignore it

I've gotten about 5-10 emails that are veryy similar to this. All including that they live in another country and would like to borrow/give money. One actually asked if they could put there money in my account. I'm 13. I don't have a bank account, let alone a relative/friend out of country. It's a scam.

This is a typical scam letter. Scammers emailed them to many adresses and will try to get as much money out of you as they can. They will get your banking info and drain your bank account and steal your identity.
Delete it immediately.

Yep, that is what is called a 419 Nigerian Scam, check out this site, you will probably see the exact same letter somewhere on the site. http://www.419eater.com/index.php
