Did they mess up my prescription?
I got a refill on my bottle of Ambien today and tonight, took the dose out of the new bottle.
Usually I take Ambien about twenty minutes after I took it, I'll start to feel woozy, light-headed and far away from everything. Then my limbs seem to move in slow motion and I can't keep my eyes open. Then I go to bed.
I took my ambien tonight at an hour and a half ago and I've felt nothing. Not dizzy, or even tired. I know my body didn't build up a tolerance because, yesterday I felt the full effects. Now, none.
I can't sleep now and I'm afraid to take more than one.

Your body does build up a tolerance, this all depends on how long you have been taking the drug. You have been using it long enough to need a refill. But I will say if the pills look the same the only difference may be the dosage amount.
But they should have given you the same, the best thing you can do is just try the same dosage one more time and see what happens. If the problem remains talk to you doctor and explain it and see what they think. Sleep pills are addicting and habit forming so please be careful.

call your pharmacy, they might have given you a generic brand. I know this sounds dumb but their are different brands of the generic medication, it happened to me.
