We are relocating from the UK and looking at areas in NJ to live as my husband will work in Manhattan. We found a house we liked the look of in North Plainfield, NJ (Zip Code 07060).
I was hoping to find someone who lived around there and could comment from experience. What is the neighborhood like there? Namely is it: Safe? Family friendly? Good schools?

Plainfield is bad.
North Plainfield is almost bad.
Try Westfield instead.

North Plainfield is allot better than Plainfield. Its as different as day and night.
Berkeley Heights and Westfield are nicer areas however.
