  • Strange Pain in Chest Area- 11 Weeks Pregnant?

I woke up from a deep sleep about 45 minutes ago with pain just under my breastbone. It was a strange pain- the best I can describe it is heartburn with just pain instead of burning.

I kept feeling like if I ate something and sat up it would go away. So I ate some bread and the pain worsened, then has sort of slid down my stomache closer to my belly button and got a bit better. I am feeling like I might bring the bread up again, though and don't feel like I can eat anymore.

After about a half an hour after eating, the pain has gone and just left me a bit nauseous.

Can anyone shed light on what this might be?

  • North Plainfield, NJ- Neighborhood Good or Bad?

We are relocating from the UK and looking at areas in NJ to live as my husband will work in Manhattan. We found a house we liked the look of in North Plainfield, NJ (Zip Code 07060).

I was hoping to find someone who lived around there and could comment from experience. What is the neighborhood like there? Namely is it: Safe? Family friendly? Good schools?

  • Pegasus Recruiting?

Has anyone gone to South Korea working with this agency or know of anyone who has? If so, how did it go? Did the agency do a good job? Did you have any problems because of the agency? Or perhaps, any problems the agency resolved?

  • What Size for a Fish Tank?

I know the general rule of thumb is 1 in of fish = 1 gallon of water. However, I am wondering about what to do im my personal circumstance.

I have 3 goldfish and one plecostmus. The first goldfish is about a foot long (I have not been able to figure out what kind he is). The other two (fantails) are about 2 inches and growing fast. The plecostmus is about 5 inches.

I will be moving in 5 months and my current home has little room for a huge fishtank. My new home will not have a lot of room for a huge one either. I am wondering what size would be adequate, plus give the little ones room to grow. The big guy also will keep growing, he has outgrown two tanks now- this last one was outgrown in a manner of a year. I want the smallest tank I can have that will still work in this respect.

None of my fish have ever lived in a pond and this is not an option. The area where I live has a lot of wild animals, and should I do that, there would be a good chance they'd be eaten.

    Thanks.

  • Stressed Goldfish?

I have a rather large goldfish that I've had for years. He's a good foot long and lives with 2 other goldfish in a 20 gallon tank. The other 2 are much smaller. The 2 small ones are looking fine, but my big guy is in bad shape. He has lost some scales and before today spent a lot of time resting on the gravel instead of his usual swimming.

He suddenly got worse today and isn't able to swim properly- does a lot of rolling to get anywhere. He has been laying sideways on the gravel in a terrible bent looking fashion, looking like he's gasping for air. I did a partial water change last night (40-50% of the water) with a new filter w/ammonia rocks in it. Today I added some salt, stress-zyme and stress-coat since he's looking so bad. I checked the water and the Nitrate/nitrite and amm is up, even though I have amm rocks in the filter. I also put some nitraban (easy balance) in there which is supposed to help with nitrate. Does anyone have any other ideas? I'd hate to loose him.

  • Softening Water?

I have had troubles with my tank's PH level. I have bought some PH stabilizer products but according to their label they will not work if the water is hard. I have tried the 'water softener pillows' and aquarium salt but neither seem to help. Does anyone have any other ideas?

  • Sims 2: Installation Issues?

I believe there may be something wrong with my expansion pack disc. When I installed it (Open for Business-no other expansion packs installed) it won't work.

The disc comes up as only a process-not as an application- also, when you look under "EA Games" it lists both Sims2 and Sims2 Open for Business. I don't believe either is normal. Can anyone confirm this and/or make a recommendation?

    Thanks.

  • Sims 2: Which Disc Do I Use?

When you have more than one expansion pack for the Sims 2 do you use the the last one you've installed or the lastest one that's come out (the last that the company has released)?

  • Does Anyone Know Where To Get "Voyage of the Mimi?"?

Back in the day, we watched Voyage of the Mimi in middle school. As a joke, a friend and I wanted to get a copy. Then when we had some friends over (we've known them since 6th grade) we'd put it in the VCR to watch it and see if they recognized it or said anything.

Lame, perhaps. But we think we're funny.

I tried looking for it on Ebay and a few other places but can't seem to find the movie itself...does anyone know where I could get it?

    Thanks!

  • Alcohol Restrictions for Re-Entering the US?

Strangely enough, the answer to my question seems impossible to find an answer to my question online. As I recall from my previous travelling, one can only bring two bottles of alcohol (below 140 proof) into the US per person, is this correct? I am older than 21 and an American citizen.

    Thanks.

  • A Question about Lion Behavior?

I am leaving in less than a month to study abroad in South Africa. I have heard that on occasion lions wander into the city where I will live. If I should see a lion wandering about, does anyone know what to do? Especially if it should walk up to me?

    Thank you!

  • Heater Efficency?

I have a goldfish and a plecostomus in a 20 gallon tank with a heater to support that. I am leaving the country for several months and leaving them in the care of family members.

While I am gone, these family members intend on taking a week long vacation. While they are away, they plan to shut off the heat. We leave in Minnesota, and it can get rather cold. Anywhere from 40 degrees F to -40 degrees F.

I was wondering if anyone knew if the heater will be able to keep my fish warm enough while they are gone. If not, are there any suggestions as to what I can do to keep them warm?

    Thank you.
