    yes an American researcher named Clyde Ahmad Winters ,of Illinois University described his report expedition in Trans Atlantic effected by the African Muslim in 14 century in the entrance of Amazon river in Brazil some archeological proof find in the city of Mandingo still in the museum ,these inscription are in Mandingo Language and in ancient Bahai city as well as Minas Gerais ,and Mr Leo' Weiner wrote in his book (the African role in the discovery of America )this was long before C.     Yes, I knew Kunta Kinte was a Muslim. I read the book and then I watched the mini-series on TV when it came out. As for who discovered America it was probably the Asians who crossed the land bridge between Russia and Alaska. These people later became known as Indians and later as Native Americans. Religion is not a factor in who discovered America. The factor is that it was discovered.
