Should I Buy a PS3 Slim 120 GB or a Cell Phone?

5) Lack of flashing lights on front of machine!

8) Free Online Community and Game Play

9) Tech support speaks english and appears to be located in America, they understood my name and my question.

10) Controllers come with built in rechargable battery and can be charged with any usb port.

11) easy to navigate menus

12) No ridiculous power brick, one cord, if you want to take your ps3 with you somewhere you only need the controller, the unit and the power cord.

I would say the PS3, because it's not nice to go to someones home JUST to play PS3. Maybe it is no problem for your friend, but I would also suggest you to by one yourself, i think it's cool so you have your account, your characters and you can play online. On the other side the cell phone is not a bad idea, but if you dont want anything fancy, I cant understand why you would spend 300$ on one. You get something nice spending that much money, not an Iphone, but something. If you don't want something fancy. buy an old one, a very cheap one, or a used one and, perhaps you may buy both.

In my opinion, buying a $500 cell phone is stupid. In a year or two, your going to look back on this day and say, "Man, I wish I never blew my money on that cell phone", because a better one is going to come out. But Im buying a PS3 for myself. However, im buying the 250 gb, PS3. Buying a PS3 is a very smart choice.

the PS3 can also have music, movies, and internet, did i mention it has Blu-Ray O_O

But the cons with the PS3 is that you need to buy each game you want and they can be quite expensive 50-70 dollars each

hmm hard question. A games console that cana play games, browse the internet, play online and meet people. OR spend more on somnething that lets you call people... hmm. Basically a ps3 is a hell of a lot better than a phone, i just dont understand why people would spend $500 + on a phone.

honestly, Id go for a ps3 and much cheaper cell phone, a phone is more needed, it is kind of a necessity in this day and age but I dont see the point in dropping 500 bucks for one (especially at 14)

I think you should get a cell phone. A PS3 is fun but a cell phone is important to have.

buying a mobile phone at that rpice is pointless dude + at teenage years (as im almost ending mine) i had more fun with my ps2's and ps3's that i ever have done with any of my phones, phone games are rubbish as well so id have the ps3 bro
