Would I Be Able to Race My Mustang Across the Bonneville Salt Flats?

I want to race my 2008 Mustang GT across the Bonneville Salt Flats in the next 3-6 months. Would this be allowed and what are some of the drawbacks of doing it?

to the best of my knowledge and im no expert, you should be able to do so.i think your best bet would be to track downsome info in regards to conditions ie,do you need a racing license, do you need a rollcage ,do you have to join cams or some such body.years ago street machine magazine went along with one of the feature cars owners,it was gary myers if my memory is true, also in a mustang,so maybe dropping a line to them may steer you in the right dirrection.be prpared to do a lot of cleaning apon your return as the cars get filthy in the dust.ps if you go id recommend trailering the mustang to and from just in case you break itgood luck let the rest of us know how you went out there.

I observed a coach on the invention Channel or national Geographic on the apartments relatively a mutually as in the past (there have been many shows on the racing, yet this became on the song itself). They drag the song to take out the little bumps that are there. It gets form of a ripple in it. it would be drivable on your generic automobile, yet might deliver the racecars flying.
