has there ever been a gay Republican elected and the Republicans who voted for them knew they were gay? Or should they keep their secet life secret so they can get elected?
Yes, we like to make hypocrisy an issue..you are correct.
Again, it's not a matter of whether he is gay or not, or how many Republicans are gay. But their lifestyle doesn't fit with the Republican platform.

Good question. There are a very small number of local officials. Tammy Baldwin, a Republican Wisconsin Congresswoman, came out as a Lesbian after she was elected but was since re-elected in 1998 and is still in Congress. There are still only 2 openly gay Democrats in Congress.

I think the Democrats have a lot more to worry about this fall than gay Republicans.

The only reason he came out of the closet is that he got Barney Frank pregnant. Obama thinks it's his kid.
