Any way to watch HD channels on analog TV with motorola dct2244 cable box?

I have a 10 year old JVC 'tube' TV and really want to watch Discovery HD Theater, however it does not come in on my TV (it's part of my channel line up through Comcast, but it's pixelated when I tune to that channel). I've heard of other cable boxes being able to force 1080 content to 480 for this purpose, but can't find anything about doing that with my box. I just can't swing a new TV at the moment...

    The DCT2244 is a standard definition box. Even if you had a HD-capable TV, you wouldn't be able to view it with that box.
