I need to figure it out like this:

1 minute and 45 seconds, then write 1.75 minutes

Please help, thank you!

Update:

I know 60 divided by 25 is 2.4 but how do I turn that into the second part of my question.

Update 2:

Ok my question I guess is this, I got all that you have shown me so far, what I need to know is this,

2 minutes and 25 seconds = ? are you saying 2.42?

Divide minutes via 60 to transform to decimal fraction of a level. Then take the stages with decimals and divide via 15 to transform to hours and decimal hours. Multiply the decimal hours via 60 to transform to minutes. i will do the 1st one as an occasion: 30'/60 = 0.5º. the effect in ranges and decimals is consequently 40.5º. 40.5/15 = 2.7 hours. Multiply the 0,7 via 60 to get carry of 40 two minutes. effect = 2 hours 40 two minutes.

um, research how many seconds are in a minute then divide that number by 25 - voila!

when you find a fraction of seconds out of minutes, you take how many seconds you have into how many seconds could possibly go into a minute

    so it looks like this

    25seconds/60seconds/minute

    .41666minutes
