Why do Jews, Christians, and Muslims think their Messenger was the last one ?

Do they all think that the most high of "God" Elohim, Eloha Yahweh - Allah, has nothing more to tell us?

The Jews seem to think Moses is their main man but are waiting for a messiah

Christians think Jesus is the last messenger and wait for his return

Muslims Islam say Muhammad was the last Messenger but they are waiting for someone to come.

Doesn't that tell us that the Most High of our Creators will have more to say ?

Wont it be his choice if he wants to send another messenger and who he sends to tell us, ?

And don't tell me he doesn't change his mind on certain things because the record shows that he does

Update:

@ John D is back

How do you arrive at that "Jesus is not a messenger" he said several times that the words and ideas he spoke were not his own but were from the one who sent him he was saying what he was told to say - John 8:26, 8:28, 8:42, 13:49, 14:10.

And don't tell me Jesus wasn't a messenger because he was God because he clearly said he was an individual and his Father was an individual two different people

Jesus said you will not need to ask me you can ask the Father John 16:23

Jesus said the Father is greater than I am John 14:28

Jesus was one witness Yahweh was the other John 8:17

Jesus said he passes no judgment without consulting his Father he judges as he is told John 5:30

Update 2:

@ Cutekit

You haven't read your Bible very well.

How many times did The One speaking with Abram-Abraham change his mind on the number of good people when Abram was hagling on the number of good people to be found in Sodom to save it.

How many times did Yahweh change his mind when listening to Moses opinion and or pleading for forgiveness when Yahweh had had enough and was going to let them perish.

And how upset was Jonah when Yahweh changed his mind and decided not to let Nineveh be destroyed.

Yes Yahweh changes his mind sometimes and He is fair He sends messengers before calamity, but history tells us that people fail to accept more than they listen and understand.

Update 3:

I wonder how many will understand and accept Yahweh's latest Message recorded in the book, Intelligent Design - Message from the Designers. Recorded by his messenger Rael ?

Jesus did say you will never see me again until you Welcome the on sent by Yahweh Elohim. Matthew 23:39 + Luke 13: 35

The one sent is Rael he prepares the way for the return but who will listen and understand ?

Update 4:

@ John D is back

And yes Rael acknowledges that Jesus is Yahweh's Son and that he came to earth as a man in a human body, and so do I.

In all my readings of the Bible, sunday schools, retreats, and conferences, I've never ever seen "God change His mind" about His overall plan.

The Bible and Old Testament say that the only true prophets are the ones that can do miracles. That you can test to see if a person really is a prophet if they will do miracles.

There is solid historical evidence that Jesus performed miracles, and the biggest one of all proved He was the Messiah. He came back to life.

The books of the New Testament were written when there were many, many eye witnesses to verify there claims, and a lot of eyewitnesses who would have stopped early Christianity in it's tracks if it was false. 30 to 60 years is not a "long enough" time period for miraculous or divine events to be ascribed to person, unless they really happened.

For Christianity, so far there haven't been any other true prophets since Christ.

For the people of Israel, they do not acknowledge that Christ was the Messiah.

For Muslims, eye witness testimony says that when people asked for miracles to prove that he really was a prophet, Muhammad said to read a holy book, and he did not perform any miracles. Only 150-200 years after he died and all eyewitnesses were dead, then were miraculous events ascribed to him.

This fact reveals that Muhammad was not a true prophet.

Obviously my bias is Christian. But I firmly believe that these historical concepts/facts are true. And that research into this area will only confirm these things. I believe that God gives us just enough proof so our faith is well founded. But not so much that there is no other choice besides God. God respects our choice. He respects our free will. To an extreme degree from our perspective. But then no person can fully understand God.

You requested an excessively well query. We Christians--no less than those who suppose the Bible--learn that God stopped direct revelation with the near of the Book of Revelation. The final bankruptcy has a few very powerful curses laid on folks that upload to God's revelation or remove from it. All in all, while any individual provides to God's found out phrase, she or he is mentioning that she or he is aware of as so much, if now not extra, than God Himself. We additionally suppose Jesus Christ is God, now not conveniently a prophet. True sufficient, Jesus was once a prophet, robust in phrase and deed, however He was once greater than that. He was once crucified, despite the fact that the Qur'an denies this (see Sura four). His possess mom, Mary, was once there, as have been the Apostle John and lots of extra. Surely Mary could realize her possess Son, would not she? Would any mom watch any individual else's son die for against the law he did not devote? (Jesus' "crime", incidentally, was once a sequence of trumped-up expenditures, commencing with destruction of the temple and finishing up with announcing He was once a king! Read the Gospels, and get the entire tale!). Even Jesus/Issa Himself advised the Apostle Thomas to peer the injuries in HIs palms, or even invited Thomas to thrust a hand into the gap made by way of the spear!

You display a huge lack of understanding of what Christianity teaches. Jesus Christ is not a messenger nor did He state that there would be no messengers after him. As a matter of fact, He gave us a litmus test to determine whether or not someone who claims to be a messenger from God is truly a messenger, specifically "you shall know them by their fruits".

So let me correct your misunderstanding. In Christianity, Jesus Christ is much more than a messenger (he is part of the Trinity). Second, Jesus Christ did not exclude the possibility of prophets speaking under the influence of the Holy Spirit and delivering messages from God. He actually gave us a test to sort out the false prophets from the sincere ones.

Its very obvious Jews believe in Prophet Moses (pbuh) and were promised the Messiah to come and guide them again.

The Christians believe in Jesus and Jesus came to the JEWS. That means Jesus is the Messiah but Jews are very arrogant and think he still to come. However Prophet Jesus had came its obvious with billions of Christina followers around the world. The Christian believe Jesus is the son of God and Mary the Mother of God and Daughter of God. What Christians did wrong was attribute partners to Allah and being arrogant to ignore the true message of Allah. Allah sees the unseen and new Man does not listen. The Jews and Romans tried to kill Prophet Jesus but Allah saved Jesus from the Plot and raised him up into the Heavens. Prophet Jesus told his Disciples, one last Messenger will come and bring comfort to the World. Follow him.

You see its obvious the message of truth had came step by step because Allah sees the Unseen, Man never listens and is arrogant to understand the true message from the Devine creator.

After 600 years, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) from Arabia received the Message from Allah throw Angel Gabriel. The Quran mentions 25 Prophets including Prophet Moses (pbuh) and Prophet Jesus (Allah blessing be with him). Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) received guidance and explanation why Jews and Christians are the people of the book but they mix the message of truth and created divisions amongst their people.

The Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) the last Messenger of Allah within 23 years.

The Quran is a book of signs and warning. It show the true reality of Life and what purpose is Life on earth.

All Mankind is accountable for their own actions on Earth and Allah will record all your deeds and your structure (hands, feet, eyes, ears etc) will be a witness of what you did on earth.

Islam brings hope and a new beacon to the World.

    "their Messenger" ?

Islam has more than one messenger, including Moses & Jesus.

Muslims believe that Muhammad is that last messenger...not the only one.

some Muslims believe that Jesus & Mahdi will return.

The Holy Spirit is the last messenger. He still communicates today and doesn't discriminate.

well it would be hypocritical for a Jew to say Jesus was their last messenger because if he did he wouldn't be Jewish.
