Mostly for Christians. Does God have free will?

For example, could He say "Apocalypse? Nah. I don't think I like the sound of that now. I'm going to try something else instead"?

Can He choose not to answer a prayer?

Or is the plan in place and He knows exactly how it's going to play out for ever more and that's it?

.

Update:

OK. So if He's had a plan since the beginning of time and He knows exactly what is going to happen ... why pray? Surely it can't change anything?

(Not meaning to be rude. I'm just curious).

God has free will, and in that, He made a plan, and has always had it. If a prayer is not within that plan, He will not answer it. He never changes His mind/plan, and has always had it. It will play out just as He decided. He knows, and our prayers demonstrate faith in His goodness. Nobody else knows the plan, so we tell Him what we want in prayer, and if it will not change the plan (which He already knows) He will answer it. When I pray, I always know if it's within His will He will answer it. He knows what's going too happen forever. Prayer demonstrate faith in God's goodness.

Does God know what He will have for lunch tomorrow?

    Shall we say: Tuna Bagels.

Can God change His mind, and have Lax instead?

If He is all-knowing: he cannot (that would make His foreknowledge invalid).

If He cannot: He is not all-powerful.

    ....

In two thousand years no believer has noticed the problem. Isn't Faith amazing?

There's no plan, there's not "God's will". It's just us down here, so people had really start taking responsibility for their own actions.
