Anybody have the Sony Vaio E Series?

I am torn between the 13 inch Macbook pro (2.26 GHz, 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD) and the Sony Vaio E Series (2.40 GHz, 6GB RAM, 500 GB HDD). Obviously, I can see where you would get more bang for your buck with the Vaio, but I cannot seem to find any reviews on this model, other than what the basic one comes with before it's customized, and the ones that I have seen don't seem reliable enough to conclude my decision.

I just need an honest answer from someone who OWNS or HAS USED this laptop. No opinions on Mac vs. PC please, and don't recommend a different model other than the E series, I have done my research on them all and have made my decision thus far. Also, price is not a determining factor in any way. I just want to know that the Sony Vaio E series is a good quality, reliable computer.

Update:

I don't play a lot of games online, I generally just need it for every day usage but I want to have the best of the best because I will be needing it to last me a while and because I am sick of crappy laptops.

Update 2:

I am trying to find out if it overheats, or has a lot of problems like many laptops by Sony do.

Sorry, I don't use an E series. I have played with it in the store. But I do use and have used a Z series, an SZ series, a Y series, a CW series, and the W series netbook that I'm currently typing on. Why aren't you considering either the Vaio Z series or the Y series, or even the CW series? These are all more around the size of the MBP and all have better battery life than the E series. The Z is really the best laptop on the market right now - of course you pay the price for that too. The Y is a great compromise for performance, size, and price.

I'm not sure where you have heard that the Vaios have problems? I have had many of them, along with machines from Apple, Asus, Gateway, Toshiba, HP and Lenovo. The Sony Vaio laptops have by far been my favorite. My Z series even survived having engine coolant spilled all over it and in the keyboard (looooong story, broken truck) and I only killed it last month after 3 years by it taking an accidental 4.5 foot fall :(

None of my Sonys have ever overheated and when I did have one trackpad problem on a Vaio, they sent a box and fixed it within a week for free. The Gateway was the worst POS laptop I have ever owned, the Lenovos weren't bad but very business-like. Mac does make some good hardware, so I won't diss that, but my problem with the laptops is that not only are they expensive they are not upgradable at all really. Now even the battery is not replaceable!
