Is Australian English one English, or many Englishes?
For my class, we have to ask around for people's opinions.
Thanks. :D
Thanks so far your help people.
The question should probably be rephrased to be "Is Australian English one type of English, or does it comprise of many Englishes?".
Thanks again. :D

I am from New Zealand, but the closest country to us is Australia and I have been many times, so I think I can help you on this one :)
As has been aforementioned, English is a collective language, but there are just many accents depending on where the English is spoken. Australian English does not have lots of different dialects like the United Kingdom, it just has one. They all have very thick, whiney accents haha. Some are stronger than others, but that mostly just relates to what outside language influences they have.

I am not Australian, but I would assume that like every Australian State or Territory would have a slightly different accent?
