If a cop writes down wrong info help!?
The other week I got stopped for running a stop sign..which he said I didnt even break for and I did cause I had to see if there was any oncoming traffic..anyways..He wrote down the wrong street that I was on..If I have a witness who can say I was clearly not on that street do you think there is a chance the ticket will be thrown out?

There is no legal requirement to dismiss a ticket due to error. If it is dismissed, it is a matter of the judge's discretion, not a matter of law.
Most times, the court will just amend the ticket with the correct information.

The ticket can be amended to show the correct information. It isn't grounds for the ticket to be thrown out. It doesn't negate the fact that you may have run the stop sign. Note: You can slow down to check for traffic and not stop.

You can try but if the officer shows to court you don't have much chance. If there was a witness there at the time the ticket was issued, that witness can say something. If you were alone, you don't have a "witness". Go to court and sort it out..

No.
You are still guilty of the infraction.
