Why don't you just leave town? Don't tell anyone where you're going and don't leave a forwarding address. Change your name and aquire new ID. That way you'll 'be dead' as far as anyone knows...and, it's perfectly legal. People do it all the time! I recommend it!

Your rotting corpse will only add to the problem by adding CO2 to the atmosphere thus causing catastrophic consequences never before witnessed by the earth. It will warm up so much that it will ignite and burn up causing even more CO2 so that it becomes hotter than hot. That's really hot.
