When do you apply to Grad school?

I'm just wonderng, do you have to wait until you have your undergraduate diploma or could you apply to grad school when you're a junior or senior and just be on hold or something?

    Most people apply for grad school in October-February of their senior year. You do not have to be finished with your undergrad at the time you apply, but you're expected to receive it before you start grad school.

    It's just like applying to college the first time. When you're a senior in college, you apply to grad school so that you can start that fall.
