Why do you think agriculture is important?

Without the Agriculture, whole world would be unable to live,sustain itself,work,thrive and survive. Look at over-populated areas that have no agriculture. Look at countries that have to import food supplies from other agricultural countries. Yes, Agriculture is very important. Feed the people,feed the world,grow trees,grow fish,grow plants,thrive and survive.

agriculture is one of the most important industries in the world. Without it we would have no food and agriculture has been around for thousands of years. It will never die as long as there are humans on the earth. Not just food, agriculture provides clothing and many other things. You cant have it. It sustains the way we live and without it i wouldnt like to think how the world would be

Do you eat? Everyone has a stake in agriculture even if you don't own a cow or tractor. If you eat, agriculture must be important to you.

An improved agricultural base can eventually solve the world's political problems. Renewable fuel source: Corn ethanol.NO! Try eating the corn. Poor and starving: grow something you can eat and stop shipping it to America. we need to start growing our own food anyway(if not for the exercise then, for the savings on shipping costs). Localized agriculture is sustainable. if it isn't sustainable it will eventually crash. Think deeper on it and you will see solutions to health care problems and all other political issues.

Currently, this is the only means for the world population to continue and maintain itself. Without agriculture and the products it produces, we as a society would expire into extinction in a short period of time.
