hormone levels during pregnancy?
Hello just wondered if anyone could help me please i am out of my head worrying and don't really understand doctors terms .. I went into A&E on tuesday night with a stretch like pain in my side nothing to scream about just a ache pain and they done some route checks they said it could be an ectopic pregnancy so the on the thursday they made me an appointment to go to the EPAC unit (early pregnancy unit) they checked my hormone levels to make sure they where going up and done a scan they couldnt see a baby but could see a sac with the white around it but no yoke so i waited for my hormone level to come back it came back at 521 then on the thursday it came back at 1,930 which was a good sign because in ectopic pregnancy's your hormone levels dont normally go up that high over a few days they normally raise little or drop so i had my hormone levels take again today and its came back 3,173 and thats over 2 days and they havent doubled it would of had to have a 150 on top of that to double so they want me to go in the morning for another scan they think am 4 - 5 weeks and i have had no bleeding or sickness pain in shoulders or nothing just a streching heavy feeling on left hand side if any one could help me i would be very greatful because my heads in the clouds am so worried everyone is telling me to relax but its so hard to when i dont no whats happening thankyou nicole xx

This early in pregnancy, your HCG should be doubling every 48-72 hours. Yours are doing that.
I know you are worried about the pain, but honestly, there is nothing anyone is going to do for you right now. Only time will tell if this pregnancy is viable, but I don't really see anything that would say it isn't.
I know its hard not to worry but I'm sure everything will be fine!
Congratulations!
