using sim card in netbook for internet coverage?
i have a sony vaio p Series 8 inch net book and you can put a sim card in to get on line when no wireless internet coverage is available in the usual way. every time i ask mobile phone suppliers all they want is to sell me a package with a dongle all i want is a sim card to use when i can not use any other means to get on line any body got help for this old fart
pehaps I am not such an old fart.
the pc has inbuilt sim software if the right sim card is used this means 1/ I can use a wired internet connection 2/ a wireless connection (hotspot) 3/ a mobile phone signel when no other internet connection is around, this is not the same as a dongle
