No it doesn't.

ask them to thin your hair out!! i have really think and wavy hair too, so i have to get my hair thinned every few months so it's not too pooffy and crazy when i straighten it.. short layers will make your hair more frizzy and poofy which is why i now have longer layers i like them a lot better, and think they look a lot better. but choppy layers don't really make your hair thicker either. good luck

it doesn't make it thicker, but it can make it LOOK thicker, if the layers are done a certain way and if you style it a certain way. if you get your hair thinned, your getting layers, but not in such a noticeable way.

I rather have thick hair and that i have uneven layers and lengthy edge bangs. it truly is totally lovable and it truly works more desirable effective once you've lengthy hair because you get more desirable volume which continually seems large.

no it doesnt. u shud get ur hair cut as normal but ask for it to be thinnened out. i did that and it worked!!
