Is the Obama administration having the FBI monitor Answers.com?

Do you remember last year when the Obama people wanted Americans to notify the White House if you heard anything that was said about them that was not true so the administration could tell them the truth? Are some of us on the FBI watch list?

I'm not sure about the FBI, but you can count on Homeland Security and the NSA, both of which have been monitoring since BEFORE the regime change.

    It ain't just Obama.

No. The Secret Service has a unit in D.C. that monitors sites such as these looking for key words that would be veiled threats to the President or Government employees.

The FBI should have their hands full watching all the corruption coming out of The White House.

technically yes, however this trend was passed into in 2001 by Bush. this illegal monitoring of US citizens is authorized by the Patriot Act. Obama dd resign this Bill early in his term

Obama would not be in charge of that.. but I have no doubt that the internet is monitored for keywords .. like bomb, assassinate, jihad and the like.

Considering that I have seen threats against the president's life posted here, I would say they would be wise to do so.

Homeland Security (Bush, remember) can monitor whatever it wants to.
