Yes we pay it. $18,820 a yr. Not including deductibles, co pays and medicine.

No we can't afford it. Right now we are heading towards bankruptcy so fast it makes us dizzy. My husband is sick..has had major surgery last week. He will be out of work for an undetermined amount of time. I am sick..multiple health issues. MS, degenerative disc disease..bowel resection last part of Jan...etc.

If we stay in this country we won't have a pot to p*ss in. We are moving back to England in 2-3 months. At least there we don't have to worry about going bankrupt and loosing everything because of illness.

We do pay for our own insurance, it costs about $3000.00 a year for the 2 of us, and we do get decent precription drug coverage. Can we afford it, not really, but we make it happen. Because the cost of some catastrophic medical event in out lives - we are both in our late 50's - would cost much more.

Yes I do and no I can't. I can't afford good coverage, and at over 60 and under 65 even though I'm healthy, there is no real affordable coverage anyway. So I have a policy I'm afraid to use lest it evaporate, but its the best I can do.

I pay for it, but it keeps going up.
