ashly, that's chump change for this government. we, as a country have elected a bunch of people who simply can't count. these folks are touchy, feely, people who have no concept of hard edge supply and demand economics. they just want everyone to have everything. obama, pelosi, reid, and the rest, are socialists who will be satisfied with nothing less than the death of free market capitalism. what we are witnessing is the transformation of the us of a into a socialist state; AND there is no going back. once you give a dog a treat, good luck getting that biscuit out of fido's mouth.

Nope, much, much more in tax hikes.
Since health care is 1/6 of the economy expect 16% tax hikes on your income on average, that is from current 22% to 38%. In absolute numbers it will be about $26 trillion in tax hikes in the next 10 years.

I paid less taxes. I got the largest refund I've had since 1993 this year. Even a $400 credit for owning a small business and having a regular wage earning job at the same time.

Good.
$10 Trillion in debt thanks to 221 years of Governments not collecting enough in taxes.
The War of Independence still hasn't been paid off yet. The original $75 million was still outstanding by the Civil War, and that debt wasn't paid off by WW1. WW1 and WW2 created massive debts, as did Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War, wars with Iraq, and Afghanistan, as well as the Cold War and the quest to go to the moon.
How do you feel about both Republican, Democrat, Whig, Democratic-Republican, Federalist and Independent governments being negligent since 1789?
No government has ever collected enough in taxes, and its whingers like you who contribute to the reasons why the national debt continues to grow every year.
Grow up and stop sucking on your pacifier.
